Where do you guys get your events from?
Our site is all about making it easy for people in the community to visit our site and suggest events, which we then review and post. Also, whenever we hear or read about something that’s not already posted, we get it in there ourselves.
What’s the deal with being reminded on my mobile phone? Are you guys going to call me or something?
Nope, we’re not going to call you, we’re just going to send a short text message to your phone. Keep in mind, some cell companies charge for text messages, so be sure you understand your cell phone’s text message policy before signing up for a bunch of text messages from us.
How come you guys don’t cover sports and recreation?
There are a number of types of events around Jackson that we think the-j-list could cover really well, but for starters, we wanted to keep things simple. And for us, the thing we wanted to stay posted on more than any other was arts & entertainment. That’s what we’re going to stick with for now, but stay tuned to see what the future has in store….
