9:00 pm - The Deadlocks with David Gans @ Town Square Tavern
David Gans, host of the nationally syndicated Grateful Dead Radio Hour, touring musician and Grateful Dead historian, will join The Deadlocks for two nights of music in the Tetons on Sept. 29 and 30. First set will be original compositions by Mr. Gans, followed by two sets of The Deadlocks performing the music of the Grateful Dead, with Mr. Gans joining for an extended set.
Gans is a veteran of the music business as a songwriter and performer, radio producer (host of the Grateful Dead Hour, host of Dead to the World on KPFA Berkeley, and a consultant to the Grateful Dead Channel on Sirius XM Satellite Radio since its inception), record producer, journalist, and photographer. His fifth and most recent album was recorded and produced with Railroad Earth’s Tim Carbone. Loaded with lyrically piercing songs, including a dark, brilliant contribution from Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter, Gans’ latest is melodically vibrant and dynamic.
