Join local author Alexandra Fuller for a reading and signing of her new book. In her debut memoir, “Don’t Let’s Go to the Dogs Tonight,” Fuller recalled in vivid, often excruciating detail coming of age in Rhodesia as a long civil war raged in neighboring Mozambique. Her new book returns to the place of her childhood in both a prequel and sequel to that debut memoir and tells more of her family’s story. With unflinching honesty and humor, Fuller reveals her mother, Nicola Fuller, in all of her complexity and captures her inimitable voice with remarkable precision.
