July 21st features another one of New Orleans’ most talented singer-songwriters, Anders Osborne. Osborne, one of New Orleans most sought after songwriters, has penned tunes for Brad Paisley, Jonny Lang, Tab Benoit, and Jimmy Thackery, to name a few. His song “Watchin the Wind Blow By” became a number one hit for country superstar Tim McGraw and “I Was Wrong” and “A Better Man” were both Grammy winning songs from Keb Mo’s album Slow Down. Osborne’s most recent release American Patchwork, received rave reviews and featured drummer Stanton Moore (Galactic) and keyboardist Robert Walter (20th Congress). Osborne often loses himself in his performance as his songs of loss, renewal and redemption bring audiences into the throws of personal trials and triumphs.
