Starting with quintessential Mozart and including some of early classical music’s greatest works, this concert is a showstopper of period brilliance. Led by early music specialist Nicholas McGegan in his second appearance at the Grand Teton Music Festival, this concert will have audiences basking happily in the sunny strains of Mozart’s Linz Symphony and following along with the belovedly familiar Bach Double Violin Concerto. Husband and wife violinists Gil Shaham and Adelle Anthony also perform a double concerto by Vivaldi. And of course, Bach’s bubbly and rolling Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 will have heads bobbing along with the orchestra.
