4:00 pm - Friends of Teton County Library Spring Book Sale @ Teton County Library

Thousands of pre-loved titles up for grabs during this biannual book sale! Doors open Thurs., May 19, from 4-9 p.m.; Fri., May 20, from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Sat., May 21, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sun., May 22, from 1-3 p.m. Small paperbacks cost 50 cents and trade paperbacks and hardbacks sell for $1. Kids’ book prices begin at 25 cents. Special pricing at $1 for a dozen on Sunday. Regular priced books are free for local teachers and non-profits Saturday and Sunday. No carts or scanners allowed. All proceeds benefit Friends of the Teton County Library and their many programs. Please bring your own bag for books! Volunteer Coordinator Maria Hayashida-Ludington, 733-2164 ext. 255.

6:00 pm - Marathon Training Tips @ Teton County Recreation Center

Join Scott Smith and Rob Macal from One to One Wellness for “Marathon Training Tips” for an overview of marathon training. Learn tips for training smarter, not harder and training with less mileage. Discussion will also include injury prevention, running technique, flexibility, training programs and race goals. Beginners to experienced marathoners are welcome to attend. Free!

7:30 pm - BuRec Water Meeting @ Antler Motel

Mike Beus, operations manager for U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, gives overview of plans for Snake River and Jackson Lake Dam this season. Meeting open to the public, in the basement conference room. Anglers, rafters, kayakers and river lovers encouraged to attend.
